Mandy’s Fun Facts

1. I’m married to my high school sweetheart.

2. I am a published novelist and poet.

3. My family loves travel and we will be taking a 5-week road trip cross-country this Summer.

4. We honeymooned in Iceland…in December!

5. I grew up using computers in the 80s before most of my peers had even seen one because my father owned a software company.

6. I have an amazing singing voice that I mainly use to annoy my children.

7. I love musicals and see them often!

8. I cross-stitch and have been working on my current project for 4 years. It is a 2.5x3ft picture.

9. I am proud to have earned an MBA, CMA, SCP, and a Life & Health Insurance license. I’m one of those people that just picks up new concepts very quickly.

10. Visiting Thailand & Japan in my early 20s was an eye-opening experience. Prior to that, I had only been to Canada, and it was amazing to see how different those parts of the world were.

• What drives you and why?: I’m driven to provide stability and security for my family. Everything I do is for them.

• What is your passion and why?: I love writing and reading what others have written. The power of language is amazing to me.

• What inspires you and why?: Art of all kinds. I love seeing and appreciating the creativity of others.

• Who is one of your heroes and why?: My mother. She is clever and kind. She is a hard worker and she has always put family first. She has had many struggles but she has never given up.

• Why TWG?: I love the camaraderie and support we give one another here. We are truly a team and I enjoy coming in to work each day and working towards our common goals.

Professional Mandy

Mandy joined TWG Insurance in April of 2015. She has over 20 years of Accounting and Human Resources experience and has obtained her MBA, CMA, SPHR, and SHRM-SCP designations. She has worked exclusively with small businesses during her career because she enjoys the energy and opportunity that comes from working with a close group of employees to accomplish a common goal. Mandy and her husband Michael reside in Winchester with their two children, Lex and Elora.
