Laura’s Fun Facts

1. My husband and I met on a blind date, and it was love at first sight.

2. I’m left-handed but play all sports right-handed.

3. Sports Mom = My daughter is involved in travel soccer, indoor futsal plus middle school basketball and track. My son loves to play baseball, basketball, soccer, and is hoping to start flag football soon. I enjoy nothing more than cheering for my kids from the sidelines rain or shine.

4. After working for TWG for 13 years I became 100% remote working from home last year after moving to Fredericksburg from Winchester. I guess they like me! :)

5. The very first concert I attended was to see Boy George back in the 80’s. I also saw Liberace and Paul McCartney with my mom as a young child, saw Tom Petty 4 times, Taylor Swift once along and a ton of others throughout the years.

6. I’m a big “Foodie” – I love going out to eat, will try anything at least once, love trying new recipes and watching The Pioneer Woman on a Sunday morning with a cup of coffee is one of my favorite weekend activities.

7. Almost everyone at the office refers to me as LC and outside of work I either go by Mom, Honey, Daughter Dearest, or Lara

Professional Laura

Laura joined TWG Insurance in May 2010 and has nearly 20 years of insurance experience managing and servicing accounts of all sizes.  She has her Accredited Customer Service Representative (ACSR) designation. Laura’s experience includes servicing, underwriting and marketing commercial insurance accounts.  Laura is a graduate of Frederick Community College, where she earned an Associate’s Degree.  She is also a graduate of Shepherd University, where she earned her Regents Bachelor of Arts Degree. 

About Laura

Laura resides in Fredericksburg, VA with her husband and their two children.  She is a girl mom and boy mom – her kids are her world.  She loves spending time with her family and friends more than anything and her hectic schedule of running her kids around from sport to sport.  Laura’s family tries to make it to the beach (OBX) whenever possible, making the most of every precious memory that is made.
