About Gary

Gary has been helping businesses and individuals with their insurance programs for more than 33 years. The first five years of his insurance career were spent as a claims adjuster in the Tidewater, VA area, where he gained valuable experience in handling a variety of insurance claims for businesses and individuals.

During the last 28 years, Gary has specialized in designing and servicing insurance programs for businesses in Virginia, as well as other states. He previously served as president of a large, local agency, and in April of 2002, he was instrumental in bringing together a group of experienced insurance professionals to form a new independent agency, The Winchester Group, Inc.

Gary is a graduate of Wake Forest University and has continued to pursue additional education during his career in the insurance industry. He has obtained several national designations, including CPCU and CIC.

• My hobby is being an amateur photographer.
• I’m the grandfather of the only two perfect babies ever born in Winchester Medical Center (Lucy and Avery).
